Safeguarding at Darch Martial arts: Your Safety is Our Priority
We are unwavering in our commitment to providing a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all our members, especially children and vulnerable adults. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that everyone who trains with us feels respected, protected, and empowered.
We believe that every individual has the right to feel safe from harm, abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Our safeguarding policies and procedures are designed to prevent harm, promote well-being, and ensure that any concerns are dealt with promptly, sensitively, and effectively.
Reporting a Concern
If you have any safeguarding concern about a child or adult at risk, whether it relates to a member of staff, another participant, or anything else within our club, please do not hesitate to speak to one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads immediately.
You can report a concern by:
- Speaking directly to our DSL or DDSL in person.
- Calling them on the phone numbers provided above.
- Sending an email to the safeguarding email address.
In an emergency, or if you believe someone is in immediate danger, please call 999.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs)
Our dedicated Safeguarding Leads are the primary point of contact for any safeguarding concerns or questions. They are trained to handle sensitive information with discretion and to ensure appropriate action is taken.
